Day 1 : Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Dades Gorges
Greetings at your accommodation where you will be picked up then depart Marrakech and travel over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass while enjoying superb views of the High Atlas Mountains and the Berber villages. Your trip will take you to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of kasbah Ait Benhaddou This beautiful village has been used as a backdrop for over 20 films including Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy, Jewel of the Nile, and Gladiator. After lunch, continue to the Rose Valley, and visit the amazing Kasbah of Amerhidil in Skoura then continue to the Dades Gorges Valley where you will spend the night at your hotel/riad.
Day 2 : Dades Gorges – Todgha Gorges – Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, you will depart for Todra Gorges. Rises 300 meters from the floor, you may see the Nomad families tending their sheep and goats. After lunch in the Gorge, travel further via Berber villages Tinjdad Jerf Erfoud and to the desert to the beautiful Erg Chebbi dunes where you will camel trek to the desert camp to spend the evening, enjoy a Moroccan dinner, listen to Berber music, can join by drumming and dancing. Overnight in a traditional Nomad camel hair tent.
Day 3 : Merzouga – Desert – Ziz valley – Ifrane – Fez
Wake up early to catch the sunrise in the desert, back to the hotel for a shower and breakfast.
