Itinerary

Day 1 : Tangier – Chefchaouen

Meet and welcome at Tangier and departure to Chefchaouen, a town founded as a secret mysterious place from which to attack the Portuguese installed on the north coast. Was totally banned from entering the village to Europeans until the arrival of the Spanish troops in 1920. Arrival in Chefchaouen and have a first contact with the city. Overnight in Chefchouen.

 

Day 2 : Chefchaouen – volubilis – Meknes – Fes

Depart towards to the roman city voluibilis, it is 166 KM and it takes 2 hours to get it. Volubilis is at the foot of the Jebel Zerhoun .the site was inhabited during the Meolithic period and was occupied by the carthaginians and then by the Roman .inside this historical site you will see the house of Orpheus ,Decumanus Maximus and Triumphal Arch, the house of Dinysus ,the house of Dionysus and the ‘Four seasion’ ,Etc …..and after the roman city you will make it to Meknes and around 4:00 pm you will drive to Fes .over night in a riad in the old medina of Fes.

 

Day 3 : Fes Sightseeing

After breakfast, we will begin our visit of “the oldest living Medina in the world” with a local official tour guide. We will tour the Medina with its “souks” (markets), stopping at the gateway of the Royal Palace, the 9th century Karouine Mosque and University.We will visit also the tomb of the city founder “Moulay Idriss II”. Lunch will be held at one of the traditional restaurants in the old Medina. After lunch we will continue our tour to visit the Nejjarine Fountain, the old Harem Garden and the Batha Museum. On the way back to the hotel, we will stop to enjoy a panoramic view of the city.

 

Day 4 : Fes – Middle Atlas – Cedar Forest – Merzouga

After an early Breakfast departure for Merzouga desert. We stop in Ifrane, known as the switezland of Morocco take some photos. Then we head toward Azrou to see the monkies in the cedar forest. Continuing to Midelt berber village Half way, lunch in a restaurant. We continue Travelling passing through TIZI N TALGHAMT & Errachidia, we will stop in the views of Ziz gorges & Ziz Oasis. The drive continues to Merzouga passing by Aoufous, Erfoud (famous with fossils), Rissani (famous with dates) In the Afternoon we reach to Merzouga After mint tea the guide and camels will be waiting to carry you across the sandy dunes of the erg-chebbi, you will enjoy the beauty of the sunset on camel, after 1 hour you will reach to the desert camp, the Local people will play for you Saharan Drums, Whatch the Stars, Dinner & Overnight in Tent.

 

Day 5 : Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges

Wake up early to catch the spectacular desert sunrise while you enjoy a leisurely camel ride back to the hotel for breakfast and a shower. We depart for Erfoud, where we’ll see some of Morocco’s paleontological wonders. We’ll drive through palm tree groves. Sample our famous sweet dates when they’re in season. Stop for lunch and then take a walk in the magnificent Todra Gorge. Head over to Boumalne de Dades for dinner and an overnight stay in the hotel.

 

Day 6 : Dades Gorges – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou

After breakfast, enjoy a walk in the Dades Valley in the morning sun, to appreciate the spectacular landscape. Then we depart for Marrakech, travelling through El Kelaa Magona, the Valley of the Roses and the road of a thousand kasbahs. We’ll visit Ouarzazate and stop for lunch in Ait Benhaddou village. There will be time to explore this renowned UNESCO site that has served as a set for many films, such as Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. Night in a traditional kasbah.

 

Day 7 : Ait Ben Haddou – Telouet – Marrakech

After breakfast we leave for Marrakech through the Atlas Mountains. We pass de pink valley and the Skoura Oases. We pay a visit to the famous Atlas Film studio and the most beautiful Kasbah of Morocco, Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou – a Unesco World Heritage site – and continue to Marrakesh. We have dinner and stay the night in Marrakech.

 

Day 8 : Marrakech Sightseeing tour

After breakfast, enjoy a morning tour of the city. Visit the Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia Minaret, the Bahia Palace, Majorelle gardens. then you will visit the important historical and cultural places in the Medina of Marrakech Coranique School, Berber arts, Artisants, Museum, colorful Souks, The day will concluded with a sunset drink overlooking the Jamaa El Fna square, Dinner in Nice Restaurant & overnight in the Hotel / Riad.

 

Day 9 : Transfer to the Airport

In the Morning (depending on your departure Time) Transfer to The Airport.
