Itinerary 3 Days Tour from Fes to Merzouga

Day 1 : Fes – Midelt – Todra Gorges

After breakfast, leave Fez and go to Todra Gorges, passing through Ifrane to arrive at the cedar forests of Azrou where the wild monkeys are located. It will be a good opportunity to take photos of the wilderness in Morocco. Lunch in the small Berber village of Zaida. We continue the way through the Atlas Mountains, enjoying the landscapes of Medilt to arrive at the small town of Rich. Here, we turn right to pass through the famous town of Imilchil before arriving at Toudra Gorges in the evening.

 

Day 2 : Todra Gorges – Merzouga (Overnight in a desert camp)

After breakfast, we go from Toudra Gorges to Merzouga. Berber villages are scattered along the way. We’ll pass through Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet. And then continue to Merzouga, after relaxing in Merzouga, we go to ride the camels in the dunes of erg Chebbi. It is a great experience to imagine yourself riding a camel in Erg Chebbi, where the silence of the desert is the dominant. Before we reach the camp, we leave the camels and walk to a high dune to see the sunset.

 

Day 3 : Erg Chebbi Sahara – Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Fes

After an early sunrise, we ride the camels back to Merzouga. After taking a shower and breakfast, we’ll start our tour back to Fes, through the Middle Atlas mountains, visiting Ziz Valley, Midelt, and Azrou. We will arrive in Fes in the evening.
