11 Days Grand tour from Tangier to explore Morocco

Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Tangier

Arrival at Tangier Welcome to disembark at the port, transfer to hotel.  

 

Day 2 : Tangier – Chefchaouen

Depart Tangier to Chefchaouen visit traditional villages along the road, arriving in Chefchauen. Walk around the village, taking advantage of its famous, markets, etc. Overnight at the hotel. 

 

Day 3 : Chefchaouen – Exporing Fes

Morning Road To Fez,lunch and tour of the medina and tanneries, Overnight at the hotel.

 

Day 4 : Fes – Midelt – Rissani – Merzouga

Leaving fes .and go through the Middle Atlas passing by cedar forest we will have the opportunity to meet barbarian apes. Before having lunch at Medalt city and continued until Errachidia lake, crossing the valley ZIZ, to reach Merzouga late afternoon.Over night in a Hotel/Riad.

Day 5 : Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

After breakfast, we go to see the dunes and the oasis of Merzouga , nomads,their way of living,continuing to the village of blacks oroginate from (Mali) listening to their local music then to MIFISS mines, desert plateau, nomads, Berbers, the oasis of Tissardmine,lunch on the way before we back to the hotel where you camles are waiting ,about 1h 30min to see the mose spectaculat sunset in the world.Over night in nomadic tent.

Day 6 : Merzouga – Erfoud – Dades Gorges

We will start by visiting the Rissani market,where the track starts to go to the famous Gorges of Todra,lunch under the cllift, we continue our road to the Gorges du Dades. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 : Dades Gorges – Boutghrar – Ait Ben Haddou

After breakfast, we will cross the valley of the Dades known by its several Berber villages. Keep walking by a mountain track AMGOUNE So we will see nomadic caves, the Valley of Roses,then to the Holyood of morocco Ouarzazate ( kasbah taourirte,film studio,museum ), lunch on the way, before arriving at the famous in AitBen Haddou village. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8 : Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast, visit the world heritage site Ait-Ben Haddou Kasbah, which has turned films like Gladiator and many others. Follow the path to cross the High Atlas mountains crossing the Tizi ntichka pass ( 2260 meters),stopping to see some beautiful panoramic views,lunch on the way before arriving at Marrakech late afternoon, Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9 : Visiting Marrakech

After breakfast Visit the Arabic palaces and old Koran school for a taste of Morocco culture and history. Visit Menara Garden and the Souk where many guild artisans can be watched as they work. Beautiful tapestry and fabrics and leather. Exotic spices. The Plaza Djemna el Fna with Berber musicians, snake charmers, fortune-tellers, snake charmers, fire-eaters, storytellers is a must. The night brings the FANTASIA spectacular, a special Marrakech dinner.

Day 10 : Marrakech – Casablanca – Rabat – Asilah

Early departure to visit the Hassan II Mosque, then to Rabat to visit the museum and the mosque of Mohamed V, food and rest. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11 : Asilah – Tangier

Morning on the beach until the collection by the carrier that will take us to the port to take the ferry back to the mainland.
